Hotel California

A friend of mine once told a story of her encounters with psychiatric hospitals, and hearing the song "Hotel California" during this time.

She said that the most poignant moment was the line

"You can check out anytime you like
But you can never leave"

For some reason, that statement clung to me and I decided to capture it.

You can be fully functional, and still tied down by your own inner demons. It's all in your facade.
